Where We Work

The vision started taking shape in Burleson and has expanded to include Tarrant and Johnson counties. Community revitalization addresses economic development in cities and neighborhoods and makes available resources to help people thrive across DFW. Thanks to people in churches, community-based organizations, and civic organizations who care about their neighbors, families were served the last few years in the Cities of Irving, Everman, Richland Hills and North Richland Hills, Fort Worth, Alvarado, Joshua, Burleson, Blum and Cleburne. New Cities are welcomed to establish a Mended Revitalization Program through a 380 agreement.
Neighborhood Improvement Program
To help community members with much needed home repairs, any city can create the City Neighborhood Improvement Program. A city can partner in this economic development program with The Mended Network. There are numerous owner-occupied houses within cities exhibiting various stages of decline. This decline has a major impact on the deterioration of the real estate property tax base throughout that city. The Mended Revitalization Program can address the redevelopment of existing housing stock in a city and promote development within that city as a whole.
